Caricaturist : Alex Hughes
Alex Hughes, born and bred in Birmingham, started cartooning whilst at the University of Warwick, drawing for the student paper, The Warwick Boar.
Upon leaving Warwick he eventually stumbled into a Masters course in Cartooning at UCE (they don't run it any more, don't ask), after which he became a freelance cartoonist.
His work has featured in and is a regular contributor to such diverse publications as PC Pro, Tribune, The Big Issue and Red Pepper to name a few.
Aside from these publications he has also appeared in the Daily Telegraph, Birmingham Sports Argus, Construction News, Jewish Socialist and exhibitions including The Cartoonist's Progress and a series of advertisements for New Internationalist.
