The Spanish word duende has a number of meanings, but the one which inspired its choice for the duo is the spirit which descends on musicians when they are playing with all their soul and energy.
They play arrangements of both traditional and modem pieces from several counties including Mexico, Nicaragua. Venezuela, Colombia, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina and Chile.
The majority of the music they play Is instrumental, but they sing a number of songs In Spanish, and some in Quechua, an indigenous Andean language.
