International Music - UK: Cleobury Mortimer Brass Band
The origins of the Muller Cleobury Mortimer Band go back to shortly after the turn of the century, when a group of self taught men formed a band in the village and became known as The Cleobury Mortimer Silver Band.
In the mid to late 40's the band consisted of about eight experienced players, with new players swelling the ranks to around 18.
The band went from strength to strength and in 1984 they started to receive sponsorship from the local engineering company Muller England Ltd.
They have performed regularly throughout the Midlands and further afield, and always give a professional, popular and polished performance.
