Jazz Bandits

The Jazz band was formed some fifteen years ago to perform in the very first Birmingham International Jazz Festival, and were christened 'The Jazz Bandits' .

Having appeared on radio and television and worked with many stars of the Jazz world, they are equally at home playing Jazz Festivals or private events.

Musically you are likely to hear anything from Louis Armstrong to Duke Ellington via Fats Waller and Louis Jordan. One of the Midland's leading Jazz bands, they have worked with many stars of the jazz world including Kenny Baker, Digby Fairweather, Roy Williams, Bruce Adams, Monty Sunshine, Tommy Saunders, Gene "Mighty Flea" Connors, King Pleasure And The Biscuit Boys, and many more.

Their repertoire is drawn from a wide range of styles and influences as you can hear on "Oh Baby" their latest CD.
