Jazz : John Smith
John Smith plays the guitar in a style often associated with the Modern Jazz era and performs over a hundred personally arranged pieces entirely from memory.
His skills include arranging music for small combos, big bands and classical orchestras for Radio, TV. and the Concert Platform.
His contribution to musical education includes regular coaching sessions with the Midland's Youth Jazz Orchestra (M.Y.J.O) and personal tuition for advanced players.
He performs regularly with his own trio / Jazz band and quartet in jazz clubs in and around the U.K. and provides tasteful background music for many different events.
